Mobile phones are usually referred to as device used for sending and receiving text messages and phone calls. However, because of technical advancements and tons of money spent on research and development, handy phones have evolved from a simple communication tool into an entertainment gadget.
The young mobile phone subscribers- the teens and tweens alike, are seeing and using cell phone as a leisure tool, which they use to listen to their favorite bands, where they save tons of mobile wallpapers of artists, download and play mobile games, as well as visit and update profiles from their favorite social network sites. With tons of mobile content downloads and subscriptions from different content providers, it’s quite evident that this segment of the market is spending most of their time entertaining themselves using handy phones.
These cell phone users’ involvement and addiction of mobile phones might be the reason behind different studies being conducted by experts regarding possible hazardous effects of too much usage of mobile phones.
We should all hope that there are (will be) no harmful effects caused by cell phone addiction. Because if there is, can you imagine what’s in store in the future of today’s young mobile users, let’s say thirty years from now? Scary…
